HYDERABAD: Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao launched the Allergy Free India Project, done by Dr Vyakarnam Nageshwar, as the World Allergy Day (July 8) was observed here on Tuesday.
Patients can call helpline number Toll Free No: 1800 425 0095 / 09441666636 to avail the services. A team of professionals will answer the call and will give suggestions. Approximately, 40 per cent of Indians have allergic disorders — allergic rhinitis, asthma, conjunctivitis, dermatitis, eczema and food allergy.
More than 80 per cent of the patients diagnosed are young and below 40 years of age. These people can call in and discuss their problems and will be guided accordingly.
